Hey everybody,
I have been taking the pills, as you know. In these days I should have my menstruation (due to normal menstrual cycle) but I can only feel the weird feeling which is in the start of every menstruation. No blood, no anything else because of the pills.
The cycle will be longer this time. My last pill day is November 7th. And then I will have my menstruation. Weird to change it like this. weird feeling now. I hope my organism really takes those pills ok :)
Anyway, c u another time! ;)

zaara.

Feelings after a few weeks of pills.
As I haven't used the contraceptive pills for a long time, it was a little weird to get used to them again. It is like I don't feel really any big changes in the way I feel, but started noticing mood changes which I wouldn't refer as normal for me.
I forget taking them in one time every day which is suggested. But at least I remember that I have to take them in less than 36 hours after the previous one was taken. :)
For the record, the alcohol consumption and cigarettes are totally cut off now.
If anybody wonders, which contraceptive pills I'm using, those are Yasminelle. They are quite mild and popular among young women aged 16-28.
That's it for a while. :)
See you in a while!
XOXO,
Zaara.

The beginning
Hello everyone,
one of my coaches and a friend suggested me to start a blog about the egg donating process which I'm experiencing now.
It all started with just a thought of some friends who had to get a donated oocyte so that they could have a child. There was no other option for them, except adoption. But you know, that's not the same. I saw my friends going through the rough process and happiness when getting a child using a donated egg cell. So, I thought, why couldn't I be one of the young women who donate their egg cells which others need more than I do?
When I had made the final decision, I contacted the clinic which does the process and collects the oocytes. It was very nice to start talking to them and getting all answers which I needed to be sure I want to do it. It was almost two months ago. After emailing to clinic, a nurse called me and we arranged an appointment with a doctor who will take care of me during all the process. It was September 15 when I first got there.
Everybody smiling, with a great attitude and happy to have me there.
While I was waiting for the doctor to call me in, I looked through the guest book on the table, and wrote my piece in it. Felt like doing that. I mean, letting others know that we - other people - care.
Doctor called me in and explained all the process to the smallest details, took my urine and blood example for the analysis. After that, doctor checked if my ovaries are OK for starting the process,i.e., if I am healthy enough. After making sure my ovaries are good and ready enough, I was ready to go home but first I had to take the contraceptive pills which I was obliged to start using when my next menstruation start. They are meant to be taken to regulate my menstrual cycle.
Now I have been taking those and this Tuesday, October 19th, I had to go to clinic to see the psychologist just to talk about me. :) And, of course, they have to be at least a little sure that I wouldn't cancel the process or regret it afterwards.
Same day I met the nurse who is taking care of my case and she gave me the injection pen and stimulation medication injections. (Unfortunately, I forgot them when I rushed to my bus back home, but no worries - my classmate picks them up on Monday).
I have to stop using contraceptive pills on November 7th, and I am obliged to start the injections on November 10th.
Then I will continue writing this blog because then the real action will start. :)
C u soon!
XOXO,
Zaara.
