It's all over!

So, today is Wednesday which means that yesterday was Tuesday. Yesterday morning was the egg collection.
Not the nicest process, i'd say.
Although I'm under quite strong sedatives, i still felt everything..and the feeling sucks when that big needle is put into me. As a result, they got 15 (!!!) follicles from my body. But, all uterus neck is scratched and bleeding a little. Plus, the Ovaries are still hurting and I can barely move somewhere. :(  So, I took a day off from school.

Otherwise, I'm ok. Happy that the process is over and done. Happy to help somebody to have a kid.

I know that I will do it again sometime. In couple years I will be going through this process again because there's no bigger happiness than making others happy. :)

Last injections

I hope these injections were the last. My body starts to feel weird, i'm becoming a little moody and.. this Orgalutran injection was quite painful. I guess, just because of the fact that this needle was bigger. Or because I had to take them both one after the other. Brrr...
It has been 10minutes since that injection and my tummy feels a little weird. I hope tomorrow they will schedule the date and time I have to be in the clinic to get those eggs out of my body.  :) But it will be next week, that I know  :) As I understood from the Monday's ultrasound, they are getting approximate of 10 eggs. Might be less, but this is the number which shows up in the US :)

Ultrasound

Ah, I was totally hit out of blogging, but - yeah, I had my first ultrasound check. Everything goes well. So, on Friday I am having the second ultrasound, I have still my injections to do. And on Thursday evening i'm taking not only Puregon, but now there comes Orgalutran (or something like that), too. Both on the same night!

Next week will be the grand finals!!!

Injections have started

Hey everyone!

I followed my schedule and stopped taking the e-pills last sunday, so on wednesday i had to start taking the injections.
The periods this time have been very strong and hurtful, as the cycle was stretched to be 35 days long. But they stop quite fast, not so long as always. :)

So, on Wednesday. november 10, 2010, is started to take the hormone injections in my belly. The medication is called Puregon. I have to do them every evening before I go to sleep. My time for them is 22 (10PM).

At first I thought the injection will hurt at least a bit as it's a needle in my belly.. but - it actually is nothing at all! I didn't feel a thing! :)

So, no worries about that. Now I know that I will be a little moody.. changing moods all the time from happy to totally blue...  :(

And in a while I might look a little fatter than normal. :D But that's nothing.

Anyway, my first ultrasound will be on Monday (15th november). Can't wait!! :)) ^^
